The controversial winner of the yearly WWWEEEBBB Design Awards

Also called the “Nobel Peace Prize of web development” the WWWEEEBBB Design Award was honored to an unusual website this year: BadHTML.com.

The owner of the winning website received 10 million USD and a scholarship for 10 Indian web designers for one year. The 10 developers will help to maintain and develop the website or to work on other similar projects.

The representatives of ClientsFromHell.net (winner in 2020) handed out the traveling trophy and BadHTML can keep it for one year.

The head juror, Timothy Adleston says:

The jury had a really hard job. We had to analize more than five thousand websites but all 10 members unanimously named BadHTML to be the best of all. We’d like to motivate the developers of this initiation and to keep fighting against bad web design.
