Peanut supply running out
According to the study of the National Institute of Peanut Butter Studies, the world’s peanut supply will run out by 2025. The constant peanut deforestations and constantly changing climate is expecting to end this popular legume crop.
The institute is trying to remedy the crisis by developing an artificial substance to replace the peanut. The artificial peanut will have the same texture and smell as the original but it will have the taste of banana. DR. Robert P. Branderherm explained that the banana taste is expected to be very popular because we won’t have to mix peanut butter with banana anymore.
They’re looking for the recipe of the jelly favored peanut which one day might revolutionize the food industry.
